Shehab: The relations between the Egyptian people
And the Algerian people will remain stronger than any barbarian operations of the demagogic people
- I rejected that El Baradee would think seriously of the presidential candidacy

Shehab said that, Egypt Arabism which we are all proud of; is its identity and value. The identity and value which pushes Egypt to play the responsible role about the Arab world, referring to the danger of that role. That role which was played by the media in this issue through the private channels. The minister confirmed that the international relations couldn’t be governed by the reactions, and the interests are stronger than the emotions. He added, what was happened is just a reflection of violence that is characterized in such kind of the illiberal Algerian audience. He said, Egypt will be the greatest. Although the mistake which was committed from our side; when the Algerian players bus was attacked, such one couldn’t absolutely justify the aggression upon the Egyptian supporters in Sudan.

This speech was during the expanded political meeting which was arranged by the National Democratic Party Secretariat in Alexandria yesterday evening; the meeting was about the legislative agenda for the current parliamentary session. On the other hand, Shehab said; the position of the head state needs a leading character could understand the political work nature and he rejected that the Egyptian scientist Mohammed El Baradee is thinking of the candidacy for that great position, & if he thinks, he is mistaken. He added; El Baradee is an Egyptian scientist has his value and appreciation in his field, and we are not decreasing his value as an Egyptian citizen ennobled his country like Ahmed Zewel, Nagieb Mahfouz and a lot of Egyptian creators. But all of that shouldn’t call for any mixture between what was presented by those and that dangerous matter like the candidacy for the republic presidency, he said also, I think that the media exaggeration was behind such matter.
